Stopped at #annapolis for some fresh seafood.

Room with a view.

Sunrise in #scituate. A picturesque small sea town community, 30miles south of Boston.

One of most spectacular drives is through North Cascade National Park.

Interviewing fire chief. #landslides in Oso, WA was devastating.

On the way to airport this morning. For me this is probably one of the best views of #Chicago

Going to work! Our garage had all kind of toys.

#morningcoffee

Late arrival to #Nashville, our next stop.

Enjoying the view of #shastamountain at vista point.

Sunset at Shasta #shastalake is only 15min drive from #reddingca.

Interviewing the #firefighters of #california. #carrfire was one of the most devastating forest fire California. It burned 229,651 acres (92,936 ha; 359 sq mi), before it was 100% contained late on August 30, 2018. It destroyed at least 1,604 structures (at least 1,077 were homes) while damaging 277 others, becoming the seventh-largest wildfire recorded in modern California history. There were 4500 firefighters working together to contain the fire.

On the way to Redding , CA we happen to drive through #napavalley Wine tasting at #ChateauMontelena, which is a Napa Valley winery most famous for winning the white wine section of the historic "Judgment of Paris" wine competition. Chateau Montelena's Chardonnay was in competition with nine other wines from France and California under blind tasting. All 11 judges awarded their top scores to either the Chardonnays from Chateau Montelena or Chalone Winery, another California wine producer. So this is the bottle that put California wine into world map.

The final setup IN #NEBRASKA . Next stop Redding , CA

5years ago Pilger was hit by two category 4 tornados. They wiped out the town of 374 in 81 seconds. The grain bins were shredded into metal scraps, and the whole town was covered with corn grains. Catogory 4 tornado is a rare occurrence (only2% of tornados), to have two happening at the same location is almost impossible.
